The Role

With an extensive pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking applications from Project/ Administrative Support professionals and Document Controllers with experience in an engineering consulting environment to join a supportive, inclusive, friendly, and collaborative team in our Brisbane office.

Full-time or part-time arrangements (across 5 days) will be considered.

This role is ideal for someone seeking variety, with key responsibilities including:

  • Managing and maintaining document control systems and processes for the engineering team in our Brisbane office.
  • Assist with coordinating flight booking requests and travel safety management plans for remote workers, domestically and internationally.
  • Providing day-to-day office and administrative support to project managers and the engineering team.
  • Assisting and coordinating Health and Safety matters for the office and project sites.
  • Creating, reviewing, updating, and managing the revisions of documents, ensuring only the latest, authorized versions are available for use. Ensuring all documents are correctly filed and easily accessible in accordance to company standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and documentation for reviews and audits.
  • Coordinating with various departments from our head office, including finance, human resources, and health & safety, to ensure work processes are completed and document consistency.

Our Ideal Candidate

To excel in this role, you will have previous experience in Project Admin type roles and as a Document Controller, ideally supporting an engineering team, as well as:

  • Essential experience with file management/document control platforms (such as Aconex, InEight, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships across teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritise effectively.
  • Savvy IT skills.
