Python Developer | AI-Focused PropTech Company | Up to $120,000

We are working closely with a growing leader in the property technology space.

They are leveraging property data, artificial intelligence, and modern software solutions to transform the property, mortgage, and home-buying experience across Australia.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience delivering high-quality software solutions in production environments.
• Strong Python developer with advanced expertise in Django, backend development, API design, and building scalable applications.
• Experienced working with relational databases, data-heavy platforms, and developing solutions that handle large volumes of information.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), although experience with AWS or Azure is also beneficial.
• Hands-on experience developing clean, maintainable, and reliable code without relying solely on AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience or interest in AI-driven products, including integrating AI features, chatbots, LLMs, or automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through technical challenges and contribute ideas within a small engineering team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely in a fast-moving, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Python/Django applications powering property technology platforms.
• Develop and optimise backend systems, APIs, and data-driven solutions across multiple property and mortgage products.
• Work closely on AI chatbot functionality and help integrate intelligent features into customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and leadership to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Contribute across architecture decisions, development best practices, and continuous improvements within a growing engineering team.

Salary

Up to $120,000 + Super

Brisbane (Coorparoo) - Hybrid (2 days)
