The Nursing Float Pool provides a flexible, hospital-wide workforce supporting multiple clinical areas across the Coffs Harbour Health Campus. This includes acute medical and surgical wards, specialty units, and high-acuity areas, ensuring safe staffing levels and continuity of care in a dynamic clinical environment.

As a Registered Nurse within the Float Pool, you will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across a variety of clinical settings. You will be required to rapidly assess, adapt, and respond to differing patient cohorts and ward environments, maintaining a high standard of clinical practice while supporting teams to meet patient care demands.

This role requires strong clinical judgement, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. You will be expected to escalate clinical concerns in line with local policy and contribute to maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes across all areas you are deployed.

The position operates across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, evening, and night shifts, with allocation based on service need.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
