About The Role And Team
We have an opportunity for an experienced Document Support Operator to join our national Document Support team. Working in a team of 8 people and reporting into the Document Support Manager, you will provide efficient, friendly and professional word processing service to internal clients on a national basis.
This is a working from home / remote opportunity. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) and the hours will be from 11.30 am to 7.30 pm (AEST) Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for:
- Digital transcription
- Copy typing
- Document comparisons
- Converting PDF documents to Word
- Combining PDF documents
- Working with PowerPoint including converting slides to new templates
- Manual edits
- Troubleshooting documents
- Formatting documents
- Compiling electronic binders
- Leveraging advanced document automation tools, including AI-assisted features, to improve efficiency and accuracy across document production workflows
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology, proactively adopting new tools (including AI solutions) to enhance productivity and quality.
About You
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a legal document support role
- A minimum typing speed of 70+WPM with a high level of accuracy
- Strong digital transcription experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite particularly working with Styles, Numbering, Formatting, Tracked Changes and Compare and PDFs
- Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience troubleshooting documents
- Knowledge of legal and court documents
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies such as AI-driven document tools to optimise workflows
- Demonstrated openness to innovation, with the ability to integrate automation and AI solutions into daily work to improve turnaround times and accuracy.
