Details: An exciting opportunity waits for an experienced Project Governance support officer to join our Delivery - Housing Division. As Assistant Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the ACT’s housing portfolio and delivering real outcomes for our community.
In this role, you will:
Provide secretariat support for the monthly Project Control Group meetings, including coordinating meeting logistics, collaborating with project teams on submission papers ensuring the highest quality of the papers, preparing agendas and minutes, and managing the action register.
Manage the administration of all project-related documentation, ensuring consistency in the approach to project documentation, capture, storage and retrieval across the project team, design team and project contractors.
Support in the drafting of high-quality documents and coordinate the Delivery-Housing Group’s input into papers for the Program Board and Project Control Groups, as well as various forms of government reporting (e.g. Question Time Briefs; Questions on Notice, ministerial briefs, correspondence, etc).
Provide quality control of documents and monitor of all papers being tabled in governance meetings, for correct and consistent production.
Coordinate reporting input for Program Board and Project Control Group between Delivery-Housing, Housing ACT and wider iCBR teams (e.g. Finance, Communications and Engagement, Ministerial and Cabinet, Executive Group Manager’s Office).
Lead the creation and appropriate management of Program and Governance documents in accordance with the Territory Records Act 2002.
Operate with sensitivity and compliance to the Territory’s principles and ethical standards, with special regard to probity, transparency and honesty.
Contribute to additional responsibilities as needed to support team and organisational objectives.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Demonstrated working knowledge of government business activities in an infrastructure project environment is highly desirable and will be an advantage.
