Details: The Work Safety Group in Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate seeks an individual passionate about rehabilitation to fill a temporary opportunity within our return-to-work service.
The role will support the work rehabilitation service for ACT public sector employees with a work-related injury or illness. The service delivers person-centred outcomes through the provision of evidence-based advice to remain at or return to work. The role will also work with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including rehabilitation case managers and treating clinicians, to support a healthy and safe return to work as part of the worker's compensation system.
The role is suited to an experienced clinician who contributes to a positive workplace culture and enjoys achieving results.

Eligibility/Other Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline and a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or other regulatory board.
- A current driver’s licence.
- This position involves direct supervision of personnel.
Highly desirable:
- Experience in the delivery of work rehabilitation services.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 05 February 2027 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
