Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Warehouse and Systems Analyst to support and enhance our growing warehouse and logistics operations. This role focuses on understanding warehouse operations, analysing data and optimising workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across Designs for Health’s operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging operational knowledge with data-driven insights — using tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, and Snowflake to drive continuous improvement and system optimisation making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem solving. They will play a key role in identifying, analysing and implementing process and system enhancements to help Designs for Health operate more efficiently and scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Process Understanding

· Develop a strong understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory management, and logistics processes.

· Maintain familiarity with daily operational practices to ensure accurate interpretation of system and data processing.

· Ensure operational procedures and systems are aligned for accuracy, safety, and compliance.

· Provide assistance and troubleshooting for system or data related warehouse issues.

Operational Analysis

· Analyse warehouse and logistics performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

· Develop and maintain reports and dashboards on key operational KPIs (inventory accuracy, pick accuracy, dispatch times, freight performance, etc.).

· Support root cause analysis for discrepancies, delays, or process breakdowns.

· Partner with management to forecast labour, storage, and workflow requirements using data insights.

· Contribute to projects focused on scaling warehouse efficiency and system reliability.

Systems & Process Improvement

· Collaborate with the Operations Director and Warehouse Manager to review and enhance systems and processes, identifying automation and workflow opportunities.

· Support optimisation of ERP (NetSuite) and other operational systems through configuration, data quality management, and user feedback.

· Gather and document system requirements for new features, integrations, and reporting needs.

· Assist in developing, documenting, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics functions.

· Liaise with internal teams (Customer Service, Finance, IT) to ensure systems alignment and data integrity.

· Participate in system testing, validation, and user training to ensure successful implementation of improvements.

Skills & Experience

Required

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with project management tools.

· Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel and Power BI) and comfort working with digital systems.

· Demonstrated reliability and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

· Demonstrated ability to analyse operational data and present actionable insights.

· Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite, SAP or similar).

· Proven skills in ETL processes, SQL and familiarity with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

· Tertiary qualification in Information technology, Information systems, or Business-related field.

Preferred

· 1–2 years of experience in operations, systems analysis, or logistics environments.

· Experience in developing reports and dashboards for operational tracking.

· Understanding of process mapping, workflow design, or lean/continuous improvement practices.

· Experience developing reports or using dashboards for operational tracking.
