About the Role | Senior Accountant - Advisory & Tax (Public Practice)
Our clients are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your technical accounting expertise to deliver high-quality advisory and tax services. You will dive deep into complex tax compliance, and modern accounting software, all while expanding your skills in strategic forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilitie
- Compliance & Tax: Prepare financial statements, Tax Returns, BAS, and FBT
- Tax Advisory & Legislation: Apply your understanding of assessable income, allowable deductions, GST, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), indirect tax, and Division 7A across individuals, trading entities, and passive investment portfolios
- Regulatory Alignment: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring and applying emerging accounting issues, changing rules, and evolving federal, state, and corporate laws
- Future-Focused Accounting: Actively develop your proficiency in financial forecasting, strategic planning and budgeting to add deep value to our clients
About You
You are a self-motivated, highly organized professional with a sharp eye for detail. You love solving financial puzzles, staying up-to-date with industry regulations, and communicating complex financial data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Business Advisory
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- Qualifications: Completed, or near completion of, your CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Tech Stack: Highly tech-savvy with advanced proficiency in Xero, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work actively and transparently within an empowered team
