About our Role
With an ability to blend major materials handling and ports design projects with sustaining capital works and a range of exciting developments in between, our multi-disciplined team based in West Perth have quickly established themselves as a go-to delivery partner.
Overland conveyors, new port infrastructure and highly sought after resources facilities are just some of the opportunities that await you as an experienced Engineering Manager within our Industrial division.
About you
- Previous experience as Engineering Manager on materials handling projects.
- Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
- 15+ years working within the engineering industry with majority exposure to resources/mining and materials handling preferred.
- Experience within the consulting environment.
- Previous role as Mechanical Lead Engineer on large projects is desirable.
- Ability to lead and integrate multi-discipline design engineering teams (including sub consultants).
Required experience
- Ensure all engineering work is completed on schedule, stays within baseline hour budgets, and adheres to strict change management processes
- Direct interfaces between the engineering team and other project execution groups, such as Procurement, Project Controls, and the Client team
- Guarantee that deliverables meet WGA’s quality standards, review procedures, and safety compliance requirements
- Lead technical meetings
- Lead design and SiD reviews
- Input and lead progress and schedule reporting
- Own and manage the engineering deliverables list
