At Our Lady of Mt Carmel OSHC, Coorparoo, we've proudly supported local families through high-quality Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs. About the Role
As the OSHC Coordinator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the service, leading with purpose and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
You will:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality care
- Design and implement engaging, play-based programs that reflect children’s interests
- Build strong, authentic relationships with children, families and the school community
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and all regulatory requirements
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all
- Promote the service within the local community in line with CEEC’s Vision, Mission and Values
Requirements of the Role
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
