You’ll be part of an inclusive, high-performing team focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients and the workforces they support. Your new role

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and legislative compliance
  • Interpret and apply Awards, EBAs, and relevant payroll regulations across diverse client requirements
  • Complete payroll reconciliations, reporting, and post-payroll activities including EOM and general ledger processes
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and client outcomes
  • Provide expert payroll advice to clients and internal stakeholders on legislation, systems, and best practice
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data security standards
  • Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to payroll transitions
  • Assist with escalation management, complex queries, and mentoring junior team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and system enhancements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally within a high-volume or multi-client environment
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation (PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax, Fair Work)
  • Proven experience interpreting Awards and EBAs
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls and competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships
