About The Team

The Business Analyst – Business Continuity and Resilience supports the design, analysis and continuous improvement of business continuity and resilience plans, procedures, and practices across ASX.

The Business Resilience Centre of Excellence is responsible for building enterprise resilience capability across ASX, ensuring critical operations and services are identified, tested, and protected in line with regulatory expectations. This role will initially lead the design, build and implementation of the Critical Business Services Framework, working closely with technology, operations, and risk teams to embed consistent resilience practices and data-driven insights across the organisation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Contribute to the development, implementation and embedding of the BCM framework, including development and implementation of BCM education and awareness across ASX.
  • Support continuous improvement of the BCM module, associated metrics, and reporting tools to monitor framework adoption, and business continuity and resilience performance.
  • Provide analysis and insights on the data sourced from the GRC tool for senior leaders
  • Act in CMT Support role in crisis event, including taking actions and minutes, and engaging with senior stakeholders for effective response.
  • Provide support to enable delivery of the streams of work included in the Accelerate – Business Resilience program.
  • Produce high quality business analysis deliverables using relevant techniques and tools in line with the ASX delivery framework.
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders to elicit business system and operational requirements with the aim of developing and uplifting business continuity solutions

What You Will Bring

Must have

  • Previous Line 1, 2 or 3 experience in BCM, DR, crisis management, operational risk management, operational/technology resilience, and/or enterprise risk management.
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of Business Analysis experience and/or experience working in an analytical role.
  • Demonstrated the ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate and work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise work, a demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines

Nice to have

  • CBCI or similar business continuity or resilience qualification
  • Business Analysis Certification, e.g. IIBA CCBA.
  • Financial services background with knowledge gained through industry experience.
  • Understanding of Critical Business Services / Critical Operations under CPS 230, ASIC MIRs, and RBA FSS.
  • Exposure to risk transformation or regulatory remediation programs
  • Knowledge of process mapping and dependency modelling tools (ServiceNow, Signavio, or equivalent).
