What You’ll Be Doing – Your Impact Starts Here
As an Ad Operations & Analytics Manager, you will be an ad technology expert with a strong analytical mindset, leading the technical setup, trafficking, monitoring, and reporting of campaigns through the campaign lifecycle. As a core member of our Performance team, you will ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard across programmatic, social and direct-buy channels, while building bespoke dashboards within Data Studio to drive performance visibility.
You will own end-to-end campaign operations, ensuring operational efficiency, publisher verification, accurate tracking, site tagging and clear performance reporting. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the set-up, management, and monitoring of placements, tags, and pixels across media buying platforms.
- Conduct technical QA across campaigns and creative assets, providing troubleshooting and support to the Performance team
- Build reports, dashboards, and forecasts for clients using reporting and visualisation tools like Data Studio.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ad serving, tracking, and reporting issues across publishers, SEM, social, programmatic platforms, and verification partners
- Work with website analytics platforms like Google Analytics to analyse media performance, site user behaviour and provide optimisation opportunities.
- Own site tagging and conversion tracking implementation across channels, ensuring accurate measurement through tools and methodologies including GTM, CAPI, direct tagging, and other tracking solutions
- Standardise and optimise campaign trafficking, naming conventions, and asset delivery processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
- Act as the conduit between Strategy and Data teams to identify and implement opportunities to improve media campaign performance
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in Ad Operations, Ad Technology, or Media Analytics roles within agency, client-side, or publisher environments.
- Strong hands-on experience across ad tech and measurement platforms including Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Google Tag Manager (GTM), verification tools, and analytics platforms (GA4)
- Experience implementing and managing conversion tracking frameworks aligned to client objectives, including measurement, attribution, and cross-channel reporting methodologies.
- Familiar with tracking & reporting across paid social, search, programmatic, including Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and The Trade Desk.
- Demonstrated ability in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to ad serving, creative implementation, and tracking discrepancies
- Strong understanding of website analytics platforms, leveraging data to evaluate performance, user behaviour, and optimisation opportunities.
- Confident stakeholder management with ability to clearly explain technical issues and requirements to non-technical stakeholders (internal teams & clients)
- Commercial, data-driven mindset turning analytics into actionable insights that improve acquisition and ROI
- Experience working in fast-growth, challenger, or complex categories (B2B/SaaS experience advantageous but not essential)
- Passionate about digital media operations, ad technology, innovation & enthusiastic to learn and grow
- Highly organised and process-driven, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
