The role

We have an engaging opportunity for a Project Safety Advisor to join our WHSE team. Reporting to the HSE Lead, you will advise and actively support project teams on a day-to-day basis in the administration and implementation of Taylor's WHSE procedures and practices across assigned sites, while driving compliance with our accredited management systems.

About you

You are an experienced safety professional with a background in building or construction, and you bring a genuine commitment to zero harm. You lead by example on site, communicate clearly with project teams and subcontractors, and take ownership of safety outcomes. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable working across incident management, environmental compliance, and WHSE reporting.

Responsibilities and Capabilities

  • Conducting weekly site inspections and participating in proactive risk management activities.
  • Managing incident investigations, reporting, and lessons learnt distribution.
  • Ensuring all WHSE compliance documents are received, reviewed, and uploaded in Hammertech.
  • Supporting site inductions, toolbox talks, and project-based HSE training programs.
  • Contributing to audits and maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OFSC accreditation requirements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation, Federal and State Codes, and AS/NZ standards.
  • Certificate IV in WHSE and Occupational First Aid Certificate essential; Diploma in WHSE or Lead Auditor training well regarded.
