Your new role
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs to support business system integrations with clients, partners, and internal platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements, designing solutions that align with business needs and technical standards.
- Build, code, and test integration workflows, APIs to enable the smooth exchange of data and functionality between applications on Azure and Client systems.
- Design and build enterprise-grade integrations using Azure Integration Services, with a focus on code-first development using .NET and Azure Functions.
- Implement publish-subscribe integration patterns using Event Grid, Service Bus, and Azure Functions, avoiding point-to-point integrations.
- Develop and expose APIs using Azure API Management, ensuring secure and scalable API consumption and delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in designing and developing legacy platform.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Integration Services, including Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure API Management, Logic Apps (nice to have)
- Deep understanding of asynchronous processing, parallelism, and scalable messaging architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, for integration solution deployment and maintenance.
- Experience in designing secure, scalable APIs and integrating with diverse systems using multiple API protocols.
- Ability to define end-to-end monitoring and logging strategies for complex message flows and error handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- · Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Any Integration technology related certifications covering APIs, SOA, EDAs etc., would be advantageous
Expert level knowledge of:
- .NET Core (2.0 and above)
- Entity Framework EF Core
- Angular framework (2.0 and above)
- Proficient with unit tests using Jasmine and e2e test scripts with Selenium Protractor and Karma
Desirable:
- Azure cloud migration and redevelopment of legacy applications
- Experience with on-premises to cloud transition
- Familiarity with data warehouse environments
- Ability to work with AI coding assistant (Claude AI)
