Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Radiographers to join the Northern Imaging Victoria team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role
This role requires commitment to high quality imaging practices and patient care, in a dynamic and growing department. There is a comlex caseload and multiple modalities across multiple sites. The successul applicant in this role with demonstrate strong foundational radiography skills, a willingness for growth and to upskill in more advanced modalities. CT and/or MRI experience is desirable but not absolutely necessary. Training will be provided to the succesful applicant.
Grading will be negotiated based on experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Applied Science Medical Radiations or equivalent recognised degree
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Hold a current radiation use licence with DoH Victroia
- Demonstrated ability to rioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within internal and external stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform all examinations and normal associated tasks (including manual handling skills and experience).
- Skills to act as an appropriate and effective role model and be involved in a work culture that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees.
- Computer literacy, including RIS-PACS experience, use and understanding.
- Demonstrated attitude of an openness to learn, grow and change.
