Hunter New England Imaging is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team.
This rewarding role provides high-quality nursing care within a medical imaging and interventional environment, supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and procedural care across HNEI sites.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with HNEI, you will:
• Deliver safe, person-centred care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support patients throughout their healthcare journey by explaining procedures and clinical interventions to help them make informed decisions.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patients' clinical condition during pre- and post-procedural care.
• Practice in accordance with professional standards, clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in a seven-day rotating on-call roster and work flexibly across HNEI sites as required.
Essential Requirements
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Accreditation and demonstrated competence in intravenous cannulation.
• Advanced Life Support and airway management certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain accreditation.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
