In this contract role you will report to the Head of Investor Relations and working as part of a highly regarded team. You will have experience in financial markets either as an analyst, investor relations professional, accountant or another role that has exposure to financial markets.

As Investor Relations Manager you will support the Head of Investor Relations, and executive team with all aspects of the investor relations program.

The role requires someone who is a strategic thinker with a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude, happy to lead workstreams, with oversight and input from the Head of Investor Relations.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance drafting ASX releases including investor presentations and quarterly announcements.
  • Assistance drafting Q&A documents to help prepare management and/or the Board for investor questions.
  • Assistance drafting speaking notes for the CEO, CFO and/or Chairman.
  • Supporting the overall investor engagement program including development of conference presentations.
  • With oversight from the Head of IR, manage the updating of the consensus file which includes reviewing analyst reports when published.
  • Helping management keep abreast of industry news and peer announcements by continually monitoring announcements and media.
  • Attending roadshow meetings with investors and analysts.
  • Managing the development of the Annual Report and providing support in development of the Sustainability Report.
  • Assistance drafting internal reports such as CEO reports and Board reports.
  • Help coordinating materials/logistics for roadshows, investor briefings and ad hoc investor presentations.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent PowerPoint and writing skills are essential.
  • Time management is also essential, including ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to explain complex topics in a clear, simple, and concise manner would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ASX listing rules, continuous disclosure rules and a strong sense of ethics.
  • Entry level education requirement: Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or similar
