About the role
Enerven’s considerable business growth has driven an increase in the diversity, scale and complexity of our projects. To support this growth, we are strengthening capability within our Commercial team across all aspects of contract management.
Reporting to the Lead Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in contract administration across high-value, complex electrical infrastructure projects within Enerven’s growing portfolio. Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you will provide proactive commercial and contractual support to help maximise project outcomes.
Day to day you will:
- Assist Project Managers with the identification, review, drafting, assessment, and processing of customer and subcontractor variations, payment claims, extensions of time, and contractual notices
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of allocated contracts, including contract registers, files, and correspondence
- Support the commercial administration of projects, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise contract outcomes
- Assist with the review and assessment of supplier and subcontractor performance
- Support negotiations with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual issues and disputes, engaging Legal as required
- Provide commercial support for contract reviews (upstream and downstream), commercial departures, notices, and related documentation in partnership with Legal
- Ensure contracts meet legal, commercial, and corporate standards while maintaining compliance with governance processes and statutory requirements
- Support the implementation of commercial and financial risk management processes to maximise margin and mitigate risk
This role is being offered as a 24-month Term Contract.
About you
You are an experienced Contract Administrator with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Specific qualifications and experience you will bring include:
- Previous experience in Contract Administration or a similar commercial role
- Solid understanding of contract preparation, negotiation, administration processes, procurement, and management of contractual relationships
- Experience within utilities, electrical infrastructure, large-scale construction, defence, or other major project environments
- Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline will be highly regarded
