About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the medical unit at our brand-new Griffith Base Hospital. This frontline role is integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.

You will be joining our high performing multidisciplinary team who are welcoming, passionate and dedicated to providing essential health care services to our regional community.

As the Registered Nurse, you will

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care
  • Recognise and respond to clinical changes
  • Engage patients/carers and support safe discharge/transfer
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Maintain professional accountability

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and across multidisciplinary teams, with a commitment to mentoring and supporting team members.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to person-centred care, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.
  • Australian Working Rights Required and No Visa Sponsorship available
