Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gyn Sonographer

About The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer, to join our specialist teams at Radiology Tasmania and Womens Imaging - Hobart on either a part or full-time basis! We have brand new GE Voluson machines operating across our Hobart clinics.

This role is perfect for those looking to work in a dynamic environment and are interested in specialising in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures.

Upskilling opportunities are also available for candidates looking to broaden their scanning abilities outside of these competencies.

Relocation support is available to candidates based interstate or overseas.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct a variety of scans, with focus on Breast, Obs and/or Gyn.
• Enjoy a varied mix of caseloads within private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic.
• Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and /or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.
• Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
• Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.

About You

• Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience
• Strong competencies across Breast, Obs and/or Gyn ultrasound scanning
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
