About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant to bring your advanced expertise to our Perioperative Services unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba. You will work within our state-art-operating theatre complex including our Hybrid Theatre to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes. This role is a fast-paced position working closely with a high-performing and collaborative clinical team and is an ideal role for a Clinical Nurse Consultant who enjoys mentoring others, leading practice improvement and delivering patient-centred care.

We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Things That Work for Us
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years’ post-registration experience
Perioperative nursing (scrub/scout, anaesthetics or recovery)
Ability to work on a permanent part time basis (32 hours per week)
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with surgeons and anaesthetists
Proven ability to coordinate complex patient pathways across multidisciplinary teams
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing, Cardiac Care, or relevant specialty desribale
