In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering records governance, compliance and assurance services, this role supports Transport for NSW to meet its legislative, evidentiary and organisational recordkeeping obligations.

This role will see you lead and support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of records governance frameworks, policies and compliance processes. You’ll manage end to end governance activities including audits, monitoring exercises, obligations tracking, and risk and incident registers, while providing expert advice to business units and building your capability across governance, compliance and assurance in a complex public sector environment.

You will lead and embed consistent governance and compliance practices to strengthen records integrity, risk management and regulatory assurance in a large, complex organisation with diverse stakeholders, competing priorities and evolving legislative requirements.

About You

Your strong governance, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, formed across records and information management, governance, compliance, audit or risk environments, will see you excel in interpreting legislative and policy requirements, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to deliver improved compliance, reduced risk and strengthened organisational accountability. You are curious by nature, thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment and have a solution oriented mindset.

You’re recognised as a trusted records governance specialist, who is highly organised, skilled at developing and implementing governance frameworks and compliance processes, and experienced in working collaboratively across complex organisations to influence outcomes and embed sustainable, compliant practices.
