In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering specialist tax accounting, compliance, and advisory services. This role will see you providing expert tax advice, driving process improvements, enhancing reporting accuracy, and supporting stakeholders to meet statutory obligations.
You will lead the development of tax accounting processes, strengthen knowledge frameworks, and mentor junior team members while ensuring high-quality, timely reporting. You will lead efficiencies and improved tax service delivery in a complex, high-volume and compliance-driven government environment.
The team rhythm includes regular in-person collaboration days with a requirement to work from our Burwood office 3 days per week. This is a Fixed Term full-time opportunity up to July 2027.

About You
Your technical tax expertise, stakeholder engagement capability and continuous improvement mindset, formed across large and complex organisations (ideally government or similarly regulated environments), will see you excel in delivering accurate tax reporting, resolving complex tax issues, and embedding process enhancements to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
You are a qualified CPA or CA with tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or related discipline, recognised as a trusted and knowledgeable tax professional, skilled at interpreting legislation and driving practical solutions. You’re experienced in tax accounting, compliance and process optimisation within high-transaction environments.
