Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company which has been operating along the East Coast of Australia for over 24 years, from Nth Queensland through to Melbourne. With a fleet of 150 trucks and some 350 trailers there is no such thing as a slow day.

Head Office is located in Yatala (QLD) with depots/yards also located in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.

As a Transport Allocator you will be responsible for:

• Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight. Meeting timeframes and time-slots is a critical aspect of this role
• Rostering and managing drivers to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipment
• Clear communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff
• Clear and timely communication with external and internal parties
• Monitoring COR and Fatigue Management
• Accurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipment

About you

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight would be an advantage
• Understanding of fatigue management principles and legislation
