The role
Are you an experienced HC Driver looking for a stable role with consistent local work, modern equipment, and the backing of one of Australia's leading construction materials businesses?
Adbri Concrete is seeking a safety-focused HC Tipper & Tanker Driver to join our Darwin operation in a newly created position. This is a unique opportunity to become the site's dedicated Tipper and Tanker Driver, supporting the movement of aggregates, sand, and cement that keep our busy concrete plant operating every day. You'll work closely with our plant team, helping ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to keep production running smoothly. With all work completed locally around Darwin, you'll be home every night while enjoying the security of a permanent role within a well-established national business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HC Tipper and Tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transport sand, aggregates, and other quarry materials
- Conduct pre-start inspections and basic vehicle checks
- Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times
- Safely manoeuvre vehicles around busy concrete plant environments
- Maintain accurate delivery and compliance records
- Work collaboratively with plant operations and production teams
Hours: Monday – Friday 6am starts + Saturday as required
What We're Looking For
- Current HC Licence
- Previous experience operating both Tipper and Tanker combinations
- Experience transporting bulk powder products using pressurised tanker systems
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules
- Excellent vehicle care and housekeeping standards
Highly Regarded
- Front End Loader ticket and experience
- Experience working within quarry, concrete, cement, or construction materials industries
