Sales Specialist - Mining / Power Generation

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Sales Specialist based in the Central Queensland region (Mackay, Emerald, Moranbah etc). You’ll maintain, develop and grow revenue and awareness of our Power Generation and Temperature Control products and application solutions throughout the QLD Bowen Basin Mining arena. You will maintain the highest level of customer service, relationship building and strong networking skills with both external and internal customers.

What you'll do as Sales Specialist

  • Be available to travel throughout central QLD region in particular from Mackay to Emerald – overnight stays may be required.

  • Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products

  • Develop new customers within mining and heavy industry, promoting our power generation and temperature control solutions

  • Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries via the sales department

  • Support our clients across the entire scope of sales - business development and product introduction, covering project design, and project/site delivery

  • Formulate a technical application sales plan for allocated region, with a focus on advising clients of the breadth of our range and hybrid and low emissions solutions.

  • Accelerate new products utilisation, responsible for allocated budget and growth goals

  • Liaise with Aggreko technicians, and management to provide technical solutions both low and high voltage applications

  • Regular customer visits in allocated region to provide excellent customer feedback

You are

  • A driven professional with a proven track record in either an industrial sales role, or in an industrial trades position

  • Technically proficient with industrial products related to mining equipment or power generation (familiarity with greener energy solutions would be highly regarded)

  • Strongly analytical with problem-solving capabilities

  • Looking to grow your professional capabilities with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment

  • An excellent communication with great collaboration abilities

  • Dedicated to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards

  • Possessing an understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration

  • Basically proficient in project management
