Project Scheduler

The opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Scheduler provides day-to-day support across all aspects of tendering and project delivery to help the Project Manager plan, coordinate and deliver work safely, on time and in accordance with Downer Standards.
The role coordinates information, documentation, approvals and stakeholder inputs so the Project Manager has clear visibility of programme requirements, commitments and deliverables. This includes supporting tender submissions and handovers, maintaining project records and registers, coordinating meetings and actions, and assisting with governance and commercial processes throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is fulltime permanent working out of our Adelaide office 5 days a week.
What you'll do
- Support the development and coordination of tender submissions, quotations and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
- Work with estimators, project managers and commercial teams to assemble pricing, technical and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate internal reviews across operational, legal and commercial stakeholders to ensure submissions align with company procedures and delegations.
- Ensure tender submissions are prepared in a consistent and professional format aligned with Downer standards.
- Assist in developing submission timelines and coordinating inputs from relevant stakeholders.
- Support the Project Manager by maintaining commercial registers and tracking tools for tenders, submissions and project opportunities.
- Support the Project Manager by coordinating documentation associated with contract approvals and project governance processes.
- Support the Project Manager and project team by ensuring contractual and commercial documentation is captured and maintained in accordance with internal procedures.
- Support the Project Manager by coordinating bank guarantee requests and related commercial documentation where required.

What we're looking for
- Experience supporting project delivery, commercial processes or tender coordination within infrastructure, construction or utilities environments.
- Working Towards or hold Diploma in Project Management (desirable)
- Strong Microsoft Office capability (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project planning or document management systems advantageous
- Ability to coordinate information across multiple stakeholders
