The Role
Bega Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Business Manager to join our high-performing Coles Yoghurt & Culinary sales team based in Docklands.
You will report into our Senior National Business Manager, working closely to support day-to-day account management through analytical insight, process optimisation, and strong communication. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone analytical and commercially curious to build experience managing a large, dynamic portfolio.
We’re looking for a rising star ready to take the next step, someone who understands their strengths, embraces development, and thrives on challenge.
Our ideal candidate brings experience in a customer or commercial support role, strong stakeholder management skills, and a genuine drive to learn. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and eager to make your mark in a role that offers real growth and impact.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end accruals, scan sales, and trade promotions for the Yoghurt & Culinary portfolio in Coles
Partner with Demand Planning and Vendor Replenishment teams to optimise forecasts and align retail sales performance
Lead category promotional planning and execution, managing calendars, booking, pricing, and spend
Drive pricing accuracy and data integrity across range reviews, system updates, and customer setups
Deliver insights and operational excellence through claim resolution, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with key customer stakeholders
About You
Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel and Outlook capabilities
Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and customer dynamics
High commercial and financial acumen with exceptional attention to detail
Proactive, resilient team player committed to fostering a positive team culture
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
