What are we looking for?
The Facilities Coordinator ensures Slater and Gordon premises are well maintained, fully stocked, and supported by outsourced suppliers performing to agreed standards. They oversee day-to-day facilities operations and act as the first point of contact for facilities-related issues.
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities services with staff, contractors, and suppliers.
- Act as the first point of contact for facilities issues and service escalations.
- Manage maintenance contracts and monitor service delivery standards.
- Coordinate office moves, openings, and closures with minimal operational disruption.
- Collect and analyse facilities data to support continuous improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to identify needs and improve facilities processes and services.
- Support facilities and procurement compliance requirements and reporting.
- Maintain awareness of workplace safety and facilities compliance standards.
- Promote a positive and productive workplace aligned with company values.
- Travel between offices, including interstate, as required.
What will you bring?
- Experience in facilities management and property/facilities operations.
- Strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a mid-sized organisation (desirable).
