The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Storeperson to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of our warehouse. You will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of storage areas, ensuring goods are received, stored, and delivered in line with internal procedures and HACCP and Food Safety standards. Base hourly rate is $29.17 + superannuation + penalties.

What will you do?

• Manage the inward and outward dispatch of goods including temperature testing and quality control
• Oversee stock rotation and accurate stock control
• Ensure cleanliness of all cool rooms and associated stores areas
• Uphold tight security of all stock by ensuring compliance of all store procedures by operational departments
• Match delivery invoices to purchase orders, highlighting any discrepancies

More About You

• Experience within a stores or warehousing environment required
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Forklift Licence preferred but not required
• Certificate in Asset Management or Warehouse Operations highly preferred
