As a Railway Traffic Controller for Wilmar Sugar & Renewables you'll be at the heart of keeping our Cane trains running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll use real-time GPS tracking, smart scheduling systems, and data analytics to optimize the movement of trains, ensuring the safe transport of raw materials and products.

During the Crush this position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster, which may include weekends and occasional overtime. The role then switches to a day work schedule during the maintenance with RDOs most Fridays.

The following criteria will be used in the selection process:

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of rail transport operations.
  • Be able to work safely and look after the safety of others.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback on the operation's performance.
  • Be adaptable to and support ongoing change.
  • Have intermediate level of computer skills.
  • Hold a manual 'C' class driver's licence.

Essential Criteria

The successful applicant will have a proven high standard of attendance and punctuality as well as the ability to work effectively as a member of a small productive team.
