Position Type: Permanent Full Time (9 day fortnight, 36.25 hours/week)
Salary Range: Base Salary $98,691 - $115,332 per annum + super (dependent on skills and qualifications)

We are looking for experienced and capable project professionals to join our Capital Delivery team and play a key role in delivering important infrastructure programs and projects for the community.
In this role, you will provide planning, coordination and project control support across the full project lifecycle, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will also support the consistent application of Council’s project management framework, business processes and governance requirements.
Working across a range of capital projects, you will manage risks, change and opportunities, prepare reports for Council and other governance bodies, and help keep residents, businesses, Councillors and government stakeholders informed throughout project delivery. You will also provide technical advice and leadership to project managers across the division, promoting collaboration, strong project practices and consistent delivery standards that support Council’s long-term infrastructure goals.
Qualifications And Experience
At a minimum you will have:
- Diploma qualifications in project management, or equivalent.
- Current “C” class licence.
- Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD) (mandatory).
- Capacity to obtain Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM - Australian Institute of Project Management).
- Substantial experience in project management across the planning and delivery lifecycle and within a structured project management framework.
- Experience in capital infrastructure works (e.g. design, construction, procurement, contract management).
- Demonstrated highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as work autonomously.
Desirable Skills Include
- Tertiary level qualifications in engineering, town planning, architecture, or other related field, or Advanced Diploma qualifications in Project or Program Management, or equivalent.
- Capacity to obtain Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPSPM - Australian Institute of Project Management).
- RPEQ qualifications or ability to obtain RPEQ qualifications.
