About the Role

Based at the front counter of the Launceston Examiner , you will be working closely with our Inside Sales team to handle front-counter customer service, accept inbound inquiries, and conduct outbound sales calls to new and lapsed clients. This is a hands-on, office-based role where no two days are the same, providing an onboarding program to give you the tools to succeed across our extensive print and digital portfolios. It offers both independence and collaboration, with space to grow your sales skills and career within a supportive local team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Sales & Service Drive: A results-driven attitude with a genuine passion for outbound telephone sales, cold calling, and front-counter customer service.
  • Communication & Spelling Accuracy: Excellent verbal communication skills alongside a high level of spelling and grammatical accuracy, which is vital for booking and preparing client advertisements.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised with a proven ability to follow an effective sales process and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Tech Literacy: Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital platforms and Google Suite.
