We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator who thrives on turning complex electrical projects into well-structured, commercially sound bids. Based in Melbourne, you'll play a key role in shaping project wins building detailed cost estimates across materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors, while working closely with suppliers and delivery teams to ensure every submission is accurate, competitive, and aligned to project requirements.

About this role

Take the lead across the full estimating lifecycle guiding bids from early-stage review through to final submission. You'll bring structure, insight, and a commercial focus to each opportunity, critically assessing tender documentation to identify risks, uncover value opportunities, and shape winning strategies.

Working hands-on, you'll develop detailed quantity take-offs, build accurate labour and production costings, and leverage a strong network of subcontractors and suppliers. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and refining estimating systems and databases to ensure consistency and reliability across all submissions.

Beyond tendering, you'll contribute to broader project success supporting capital work programs, leading cost impact discussions, assessing contractor tenders, and preparing estimates for variations and change requests. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment with client requirements and project specifications, helping set projects up for commercial success from day one
