RISsafety is a leading Australian provider of height safety, roof access and fall protection systems. We design, manufacture, install and certify safety access solutions for builders, facility managers, building owners, government agencies, defence organisations and major national clients.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across our business.
Whilst height safety industry experience is highly regarded, we are equally interested in experienced sales professionals who have successfully sold into the construction, facilities management, infrastructure, property or industrial sectors.
The Role
Working closely with our estimating, design and project delivery teams, you will identify opportunities, develop client relationships and sell engineered height safety and access solutions.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Building relationships with builders, facility managers, building owners, consultants and government clients
- Conducting site inspections and client meetings
- Developing solutions with internal design and estimating teams
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Managing opportunities through the CRM and sales pipeline
- Achieving agreed sales and growth targets
About You
You will have:
- Proven success in a Business Development, Account Management or Sales role
- Experience selling into construction, building services, facilities management, infrastructure, industrial or related sectors
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and achieving sales targets
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
The Following Would Be Advantageous But Not Essential
- Height safety, roof access, rope access or fall protection experience
- Ability to read plans, drawings and aerial imagery
- Experience conducting site inspections and preparing technical proposals
