Senior Legal Counsel, Competition

The client

Our client is a high-profile Australian organisation operating in a fast-paced, dynamic and consumer facing industry.

The role

This specialist Senior Legal Counsel role offers some of the most interesting competition and consumer law work available in Australia.

You will be part of a responsive, dynamic, and highly collaborative legal team. As a business partner, you will advise on a range of competition matters in a highly regulated industry sector. You will also provide advice on a range of consumer law matters, including reviewing and approving advertising, marketing material and customer communications.

This role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.

About you

You will be a senior lawyer and have a specialisation in competition and consumer law. Your technical skills are complimented by your maturity, judgement, and confidence and your accountability for the delivery of services and outcomes. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and be capable of engaging with and influencing stakeholders of varying levels of sophistication.
