Investment Manager – Structured Finance & Investments (Legal Background)

Our client is non-bank lender to the commercial real estate debt sector who is seeking a commercially astute and analytically strong lawyer who is looking to transition into a market-facing investment and treasury position.

This is a highly collaborative role responsible for supporting the funding, liquidity, and financial risk management of the business’s multibillion dollar lending book. You will play a key role in structuring and executing complex financing transactions, managing stakeholder relationships with financiers, and contributing to portfolio and treasury strategy.

In this role you will structure, negotiate, and manage securitisation and warehouse funding transactions, oversee portfolio performance and reporting, and support treasury activities including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and hedging strategy implementation.

Applicants should have a legal background in securitisation transactions, ideally with private real estate credit experience or managing similar warehousing facilities including facility agreements, term sheets, trust deeds. This role would suit a lawyer with four (4) to seven (7) years’ experience.
