The role

• Lead the build of 4 AI agents (Discovery, Research, QA, Validation) in a production Azure environment
• Player/coach role with 1 AI Engineer reporting to you
• Work closely with non-technical SMEs + senior stakeholders

Must-haves

• Azure OpenAI Service (production): prompt design, function calling, structured outputs (JSON mode/schema)
• Strong Python (async, REST APIs, testing) + Azure Functions deployment
• Entra ID (managed identities/RBAC), App Insights + Log Analytics (audit trails)
• Azure DevOps (Repos/Pipelines CI/CD)
• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse) + comfortable reading T-SQL and Power BI DAX
• Built LLM evaluation (golden sets, regression detection, human feedback)

Nice to have: AI Search (RAG), Purview, AI Studio/Foundry, Copilot Studio, Logic Apps/Power Automate.
