Join the SHBBV Central Business Unit as an Administration Officer supporting a dynamic and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a broad range of administrative and operational functions within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

SESLHD’s Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Services (SHBBV) sits within Population and Community Health (PaCH) Directorate and provides leadership, innovation and research. There are services within SHBBV involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) and blood borne viruses at an individual and population level within SESLHD, as well as four statewide services. Across these services, care is provided via fixed locations and outreach networks to a client base of approximately 28,000 individuals.
SHBBV has highly skilled and diverse staff including nursing, medical, allied health, health promotion, administrative and technical staff. It is the largest SHBBV service in Australia.
This role provides advanced administrative and clerical support services to enable SHBBV to achieve it’s objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in providing a wide range of high-level administrative services in a demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write accurate and concise reports, documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently using initiative and judgement to solve problems.
- Demonstrated commitment to work as part of a team in providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software packages and the ability to learn new systems as required.
- A willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
