One of our Clients is seeking to engage candidates for the below roles.

Role: Senior Software Developer

Length of contract: 12 months

Contract extensions: 12 months

Clearance: Baseline

Security Clearance

Location: Canberra ( 4 days on site for team meetings and stakeholders meeting)

Maximum hour: 40 hours per week

Job details

The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under the supervision by nominated department personal consist of the following:

• Transaction of supplied data schemas into Django models;
• Development of access control mechanisms;
• Development of views/filter/search functionality for data models based on user requests;
• Development of data workflow and transition functionalities;
• Development of a Web API to access stored data via a given URL in a supplied format;
• Development of automated build, test and deployment, using Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery and deployment technologies agreed to by the client;
• Diagnostic support/logging capabilities;
• Work effectively in a small team environment;
• Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
• Record and maintain files/information in accordance with the Buyer requirements.

Mandatory requirement:

1. Python Software development skills
2. Django Web Framework development skills
3. Linus Operating Systems
4. Experience with Git / Version Control Systems
5. DevOps Automation Process
6. Writing for and deployment using Docker/Kubermetes
7. Continuous Integration System
8. Postgres and SQL/MySQL skills
