About The NDIS Quality And Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission)
The NDIS Commission is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The NDIS Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia.
We work with NDIS participants, service providers, workers and the community to make sure participants have choice, control and dignity when they access high-quality supports and services in safe environments.
More information on who we are and what we do is available on our website.
About The Division
The DART and Enabling Services Division is responsible for the day-to-day operations of corporate enabling functions including the NDIS Commission’s governance, finance, audit and risk and information and communications technology (ICT).
The Division is also responsible for the delivery of the Data and Regulatory Transformation (DART) program, which will deliver a connected suite of modern digital systems that strengthens regulatory capability and supports a more proactive, efficient, and intelligence?led regulator. By improving the way participant and provider interactions are identified and understood, DART will enable earlier detection of risk, faster regulatory responses, and better?informed decision?making across the regulatory lifecycle.
People with disability are at the core of DART’s design. The program will enhance safeguarding for NDIS participants, strengthen regulation of providers and workers, and reduce unnecessary regulatory burden through clearer, more streamlined digital interactions. Improved cyber security is a foundational element of the program, ensuring personal and sensitive data is protected in line with Commonwealth standards while supporting a safer, more sustainable NDIS market.
About The Role
The Engagement Lead provides senior oversight of shared?services partnerships, ensuring effective relationship management, service alignment, issue escalation and assurance across the full engagement lifecycle. The role ensures services are planned, prioritised, delivered and governed in line with agreed frameworks, security requirements and business outcomes.
The role balances strategic relationship leadership with delivery oversight to translate partner agency priorities into structured, executable demand across ICT, cyber security, infrastructure and platform services.
As the NDIS Commission’s ICT capabilities expand, the role could evolve into leading and managing further ICT vendors, especially within the domain of the SaaS applications and cloud platforms.
