Position Title: Founder's Associate

Some roles exist to execute a defined brief. This is not one of them. This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside a founder; thinking, building, and delivering across every part of a fast-moving early-stage business.

The company is an ambitious, growth-stage startup with a bold mission and a small, high-trust team. They are looking for someone exceptional to act as a force multiplier for the founder - someone who can move fluidly between strategy and execution, take ownership without being asked twice, and thrive in an environment where the path is not always clear.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work directly with the founder across strategic priorities, business operations, and high-impact projects
  • Own research, analysis, and synthesis to inform key decisions, from market opportunities to commercial partnerships
  • Draft communications, presentations, and materials that represent the business at a high standard
  • Identify operational gaps and build the processes, tools, and workflows to close them
  • Support business development efforts: mapping opportunities, preparing outreach, and supporting deal progression
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to keep priorities moving
  • Take on discrete projects end to end: scoped, delivered, and handed over without needing to be managed
  • Be the person who notices what needs doing and does it

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in a high-performance environment, whether it be strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, a fast-growing startup, or similar
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication - you can write a tight brief, a sharp email, and a compelling deck
  • Strong analytical instincts: comfortable with data, financial models, and turning ambiguity into clarity
  • High ownership mentality: you do not wait to be told, and you hold yourself to a standard that does not need managing
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise ruthlessly when everything feels urgent
  • Genuine curiosity about startups, technology, and how businesses are built

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • You have worked in or around early-stage startups and understand the pace and context
  • You are as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a stakeholder conversation
  • You have a bias toward building: systems, processes, relationships, not just completing tasks
  • You are not looking for a defined lane. You want to learn how a business works by being inside all of it
