Located within Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Delta Rue delivers a vibrant breakfast experience inspired by bold Vietnamese flavours with a refined French touch. We are looking for a warm, energetic, and service-focused Breakfast Host to join the team and help create a welcoming and memorable start to each guest’s day.

As the first point of contact for guests each morning, you will play a key role in setting the tone of the experience through genuine hospitality, strong organisation, and a confident presence within a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and seat guests in a professional, engaging, and friendly manner
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and table allocations to ensure smooth service flow
  • Coordinate closely with restaurant supervisors and service teams throughout breakfast operations
  • Assist guests with menu knowledge, dietary requirements, and general hotel enquiries
  • Maintain a strong understanding of in-house guest reservations and Accor Plus member recognition
  • Ensure the restaurant entrance and host area are presented to luxury hospitality standards
  • Create memorable guest interactions through attentive and personalised service

About You

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or premium hospitality venue preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for guest experience and luxury hospitality
  • Ability to stay organised and composed during busy service periods
  • Professional presentation and attention to detail
  • Flexible availability across mornings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Experience with reservation systems such as SevenRooms is advantageous
