St Francis Catholic College is a co-educational, multi-campus secondary school seeking a passionate and committed person to join its growing team.
Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in 2023 with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028.
Our Year 7-12 Melton West campus, with its exceptional facilities and secondary pathways, is the foundation upon which our new campus will be modelled.

POL 1 Instrumental Music Coordinator - Melton Campus 2027
The Instrumental Music Coordinator will lead and oversee the delivery of a dynamic and engaging Instrumental Music Program that fosters student participation, growth, and excellence in music education across the College. The role coordinates program operations, student enrolments, tutor management, performances, communication, and future program development, while supporting a consistent and collaborative approach across campuses.
This role is ideal for a highly organised and relational leader who is passionate about music education, student engagement, community involvement, and creating enriching opportunities for students within a Catholic and Franciscan learning environment.
Commencing January 2027, this is a full-time, POL 1 position.

The successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community
- Highly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills.
- The ability to contribute positively to a collaborative professional culture
- Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
- Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to build capacity in others.
Skills & Experience Required
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
- A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College
- Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes
- An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- An eagerness to learn.
Special Requirements

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
