The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is committed to protecting and promoting the health of its community by addressing both the health impacts of climate change and the effects of healthcare services on Australia's carbon footprint.
The Climate Risk and Net Zero Manager will lead the development and implementation of the ISLHD Environmental Sustainability Strategy. This includes overseeing and coordinating initiatives across all facilities and services of ISLHD, establishing strong partnerships with the local executive, clinical and corporate support teams, and supporting the integration of sustainability principles into procurement policies and contracts.
The role will support ISLHD to achieve its net zero and annual KPI targets, ensuring sustainability initiatives encompass the environment, social, economic and governance aspects of ISLHD.

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. That’s 5,687 square kms of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people.
