Senior Financial Adviser

The Opportunity

Our clients are a large Financial Advice practice with a national presence. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Financial Adviser to join their Melbourne CBD team.

You will inherit and manage an established book of clients while also being supported to grow your own portfolio through their referrals and professional networks. Full back-office support is provided along with a dedicated Associate.

Our clients pride themselves on client first advice and you will be responsible for delivering tailored financial advice solutions across wealth creation, superannuation, retirement planning, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an established client portfolio
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
• Develop centres of influence to generate new business opportunities
• Work with Paraplanners and Associates on Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)
• Develop appropriate financial strategies and investment solutions for clients
• Conduct portfolio reviews and ongoing client meetings
• Identify opportunities to add further value to existing client relationships

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser
• Strong technical knowledge across financial planning strategies; wealth creation, super, retirement planning and investment strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Hungry go-getter attitude
• High level of professionalism and client focus
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
