Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Commercial Property

We are working with a leading national commercial law firm seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel (5+ PQE) to join its growing Commercial team. This role is open to part-time candidates and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters without the need for a full-time commitment.

The opportunity

Key responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of property agreements (commercial, residential and rural)
• Advising on commercial real estate transactions
• Conducting due diligence on property acquisitions and disposals
• Supporting development projects, including strata titling and related advisory work
• Managing client relationships and working closely with key stakeholders
• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior lawyers

About you

• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property
• Strong technical knowledge across property law, leasing and conveyancing
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving ability
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients
• Able to manage priorities effectively in a flexible/part-time capacity
