Join the team leading the NSW Health Future Health Horizon 2 priority project: Deliver NSW Health’s first statewide clinical services plan.
We are seeking a high-performing individual to join the Service Planning Strategy Policy Unit. We are a team who collaborate with Local Health Districts, Specialty Health Networks, other Ministry of Health teams and NSW Health entities in relation to statewide service planning, to support the achievement of NSW Health’s service planning and reform objectives.
Health Manager Level 4, starting salary from $147,653 - $ 175,917 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
The Principal Project and Planning Officer role leads and supports development of statewide and system level service plans that effectively integrate with workforce planning, inform funding models and purchasing arrangements, support financial sustainability and drive adoption of key strategic reforms and policy across the NSW health system.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Extensive experience leading health service planning, including developing clinical service plans that lead to effective service change and development in a complex environment
- Advanced project management skills including the demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in a high volume and demanding professional environment
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information from a variety of sources to make informed recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills to help build and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management.
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
