They are now seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant to join their close-knit team, working alongside experienced senior professionals across compliance, reporting, and advisory work.

The Role
Reporting to senior team members, you will play an integral part in supporting client engagements across compliance, reporting, and advisory functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing accounting and tax compliance work across a diverse and interesting client portfolio
- Collaborating directly with clients to provide meaningful insights and identify growth opportunities
- Assisting in the preparation of management reports, forecasts, and advisory deliverables
- Working across Xero, XPM, FYI Docs, Business Fitness Smart Workpapers/Active Workpapers, and BGL Systems (CAS360) — training provided where needed
- Championing areas of interest, whether in business processes, software, or systems
- Contributing actively to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
About You
You're a motivated accounting professional ready to take the next step in your career. You enjoy working closely with clients, supporting your peers, and thinking beyond the numbers.
You will bring:
- 2–3 years of experience in public practice, ideally within a multi-partner firm
- CA/CPA studies commenced or a genuine commitment to do so
- Solid compliance experience across businesses and family groups, including:
- – Interim and year-end financial accounts
- – Income Tax Returns for Individuals and Companies
- – Quarterly BAS Statements
- Exposure to advisory services such as budgeting, management reporting, or external CFO functions
- An understanding of tax issues affecting private groups, including Division 7A for companies and trusts
- Full working rights in Australia and based in Melbourne
